Itinerary

The highly popular Singapore Night Safari is the world’s first ‘night zoo’ experience and has scooped a number of coveted tourism awards. You can explore the park by following walking trails or taking a guided tram tour (ticket included).

The tram tour takes 40 minutes and is a delightful way to travel deep into the domain of some of the world’s most fascinating nocturnal animals. The tram is open-sided, allowing you unimpeded views of the animals. An English-speaking guide from the Zoo will go with you and point out the creatures you can see on the route.

In the complete safety and comfort of the tram, you will travel through the East and West Loop of the Night Safari, passing a large reservoir and weaving through habitats designed to replicate natural environments from the Himalayan foothills to the South-East Asian rainforest and Indian subcontinent.

The varied terrain of the park covers 40 hectares and is home to over 1000 animals of more than 110 species. Subtle lighting techniques allow you to see what is happening in the jungle at night without causing disturbance to the inhabitants.

After your jungle tram ride, you can opt for a guided trail walk where you will be able to view some animals such as fishing cats, bats, flying squirrels or even leopards at closer quarters.

After the overwhelming tour of the jungle, relax and enjoy a powerful performance put up by local tribal warriors. They will enthrall you with their fiery stunts in the Thumbuakar Performance and the Creatures of the Night Show.

You can also grab local delicacies in traditional village ambience at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant or get onboard the Gourmet Safari Express.
